Law graduate by the Autonomus University of Chihuahua, with two certifications, in Human Rights in her alma mater and in the New Criminal Accusatory and Oral Process conducted by the Formation and Update Judicial Center; in addition she is a candidate to a Masters degree by the International Institute of Law and State regarding her Master's Degree in Administration and Justice Procurement.

She has a decade practicing Criminal Litigation, with experience in the traditional system and the current one; also she has served as Judicial Officer of the 2nd Collegiate Court of Criminal and Administrative Affairs, collaborating with the Public Prosecutor Office or as Public Attorney. Likewise Monica has represented clients of the firm with a predominant corporate focus, and assisted and monitored labor lawsuits based in false testimonies or procedural fraud. She is partner of the Association of Chihuahua's Attorneys, A.C., and currently, serves as president of said association.

Monica has been professor of several academic institutions in the state of Chihuahua for the past seven years; likewise she has participated as speaker in several certifications by INDEX in the city of Cuauhtémoc and Chihuahua, Chihuahua.
